Dr. Usha Titus is a malayalee IAS officer who worked as Secretary in Kerala State Social Welfare Department, Health Department and Higher Education Department, also worked as Collector of Palakkad and Kozhikode districts. She is the first woman to be appointed as Collector in Palakkad.She joined in the Indian Administrative Service in 1993 after graduating from Vellore Christian Medical College with an MBBS, MD and a Post Graduate Degree in General Medicine. After serving as Collector in Kozhikode and Palakkad Districts, she served as Registrar at IIT Chennai also.
